Still only 1/2 mile visibility here due to wildfire smoke. normally California has about 30,000 acres burned as of this time of year but there is 190,000 acres already burned and no end in site. Like a war zone here in foothills. Going south to get out of it. Nothing real near us to cause concern but smoke is real bad. Can’t spend much time outdoors. Even smell it inside a bit at times. Slight headache from the smoke. Wonder how the birds and animals cope?
More dry lightening anticipated for this weekend. Let’s pray we will be ok.

smoke lingers

Can’t even imagine…sounds awful! Hope the south provides some respite and fresh air! Don’t know if you knew, but Tyler Rickertsen was hired at the fire dept. there in Grass Valley.
Thanks for the congrats. I was sad to know that you had just found out that we’re expecting a third little rascal. When we found out we sent out an announcement to our families, but apparently my cute little email announcement got lost in cyber space and quite a few of our family members didn’t get it. We’ll miss seeing you at Sunriver.
